Kiddopotamus Snuzzler Complete Head and Body Support, Ivory Terry
Review by Rachel's Mom "Teri" : WARNING!!! ENTANGLEMENT HAZARD!!!
WARNING!!! This is a great product, but it has one flaw. The velcro that attaches the head and body pieces came apart and tangled into my daughters' hair. When I went to remove her from her carseat recently her head was firmly stuck on the velcro. I managed to extricate her without pulling out or cutting her hair, but she was left with a substantial red mark on her neck. I have since sewn the two pieces together to prevent their separation in the future. If your baby has a full head of hair I would advise that you do the same. Otherwise, she is happily well snuzzled in her seat.

Review by mommacass "mommacass" : No more slumping babe
The snuzzler does an excellent job keeping baby from slumping in seats and swings. It can be used with just about any kind of buckle/harness including 5 point, 3 point, and typical swing belts.
Despite information posted by other reviewers, I would like to note that this item is safe for use in car seats. It is designed so that the padding is to the side of the baby and NOT behind the baby. This is stated on the packaging: "Safe for use in all car seats, Snuzzler is specially designed with padding only on the sides of baby's head and body, not in back of baby, for proper harness fit." This meets the requirements of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration which states "Never place any extra cushioning under or behind your baby. This also prevents harness straps from being snug." The NHTSA also recommends using towels to support baby's head and neck, but the Snuzzler stays in place better because of its design and, therefore, in my opinion, would be safer to use than towels.
Also, the NHTSA recommends not putting jackets and heavy clothes on your baby in a carseat because this also prevents harness straps from fitting properly. The Snuzzler is designed with warm fabric on one side and a cooler feeling fabric on the other side to accomodate seasons, keeping baby warmer in colder temperatures and cooler in warmer temperatures, decreasing the need for bulky coats and clothing in the winter.

Review by Kristy A. Sketeris : Great for the running stroller
I was able to take my little one out in the running stroller at 7 weeks using the Snuzzler. I stuck to smooth bike paths until she was about 4 months, but her little head didn't budge when she was laying on this thing. In fact, I think she slept better in the running stroller w/ the Snuzzler than at home! The two sides are convenient b/c you can just flip it over depending on the kind of weather you're having: fleece side to keep her warm and the other to keep her cool when it's already warm out. By 4 months, she didn't need it in the car seat or swing anymore, but it still seems comfy for her in the running stroller even now at 5 months.

Review by Smart Shopper : Not just for tiny babies...
Other reviewers mentioned that this is a must for smaller babies, but our daughter was nine pounds when she was born and she was so snug and comfy in her car seat with the Snuzzler. She is almost 15 pounds now and we are still using it.
Snuzzler provides the ultimate support and "hugs" the baby in all the right places, so the little one feels secure and comfortable. We also use one in the stroller - for extra padding. I like that it's adjustable and will grow with the baby, and the design allows it to be used virtually anywhere - in the car seat, stroller, swing, high chair - you name it! It may even be used as a sleep positioner in the crib to prevent the baby from rolling over.
We use our Snuzzler every day and it doesn't show any wear at all. It washes well (doesn't shrink, bunch, fade or pill) and may well serve more than one baby.

Review by SimplyKim : Comfort for newborns+! A must have. It IS safe.
If you look closely at the picture, the back of the Snuzzler - the part that goes behind baby's back & head is very thin. The sides are really what support the baby, much like rolling up blankets and placing beside baby in the car seat. There are openings for the straps of the safety harness so they are not hindered in any way. I recommend this product 100%! It is awesome and has made things so much more comfy for our baby. He's 3 months now so we use the Snuzzler in his swing but we used it the first two months in his car seat. The support it provided stabilized his little body in a car seat that seemed to swallow him up. I love that it is reversible so you can use the warm fleece side during the winter & the cotton side during the warmer seasons. Trust me you'll love it! I'm so glad someone recommended it to me.

Review by Candace Mack "cmmack" : Never had a problem using in the car seat!
Of course they have to say not to use things in the car seat, to protect themselves from lawsuits! However, I never had a problem as this product is so well designed, and does not interfere with the car seat straps. The car seat straps tighten up to the proper level with no problem. It is much better than trying to prop the baby up with blankets or towels (which seems less safe to me as they can move around and possibly cover baby's face, this product cannot)! It makes a convertible car seat so much more usable for newborns, as there is so much extra space around a small baby. I would recommend this in an instant!

Review by L. Olson : "Must-Have-"-even in hot weather
We live in Florida. It's almost July. Our newborn loves this thing. She is currently happier in her carseat with the snuzzler than anywhere. On one side is a cozy fleece--which would be great for cool weather, but not what we need. The reverse is a navy fabric, and it's plenty cozy. It supports her head, so her head is always upright, even on long tripsand it gently supports her back and arms. I rate this as a "must-have".

Review by safetywise mom : Nice product, but unsafe in car seats!
This is a nice item that supports and cushions a young infant. The padding is well placed to keep a baby's head stabile. It's great in a stroller, swing, bouncer seat, reclining highchair and even jogging stroller. It is well cushioned and allows for safety straps to be used. However car seat experts warn that the additional cushion between a child and car seat will compress in a crash and cause the restraint to be less effective. Car seats are not tested with aftermarket products and using them could void your warranty and release the manufacturer from liability if your child is hurt. Although it's tempting to slip this into a car seat, a rolled receiving blanket on each side of baby's head is safer--save this for use in the house or stroller!
